Delicious sweet potatoes

hello.

I went to the market again this morning.

Today we'll be talking about sweet potatoes. Sweet potatoes are used in a variety of dishes, including roasted sweet potatoes, steamed sweet potatoes, simmered dishes, tempura, kinton (sweetened sweet potato paste), and sweets. There are said to be over 60 varieties. Preferences vary from person to person, but we'll introduce them in three broad categories: moist, crunchy, and sticky.

"Moist" sweet potatoes are a type of sweet potato that is balanced between fluffy and sticky, and are becoming increasingly popular due to their silky smooth texture. Typical examples include Silk Sweet, Beni Masari, Menge Imo, Hime Ayaka, and Quick Sweet.

It's a "flaky" sweet potato. It's the king of sweet potatoes. It's a traditional baked sweet potato with little moisture, a smooth, powdery texture, and a refined sweetness. The most well-known varieties are Naruto Kintoki, Beni-Azuma, Beni-Komachi, Beni-Satsuma, and Gorojima Kintoki.

It is a "sticky type." This sticky sweet potato is the one that sparked the popularity of baked sweet potatoes and has become popular nationwide. It is characterized by its moist, sticky texture and strong sweetness. It has a sweet taste even when baked, but it is also suitable for making sweets that make use of its sweetness and for making dried sweet potatoes, which cannot be made with fluffy sweet potatoes. Typical varieties include Anno Imo, Beni Haruka, Beniteshi, Kantakun, and Beni Yukan.

The most delicious way to eat sweet potatoes is undoubtedly roasted sweet potatoes. You can eat them every day during the cold season and never get tired of them. Sweet potatoes also contain twice as much dietary fiber as potatoes, which can help relieve constipation, and the vitamin C and polyphenols can help boost your immune system! They are a food packed with nutrients.

To store sweet potatoes, wrap them in newspaper to prevent them from drying out. They can also be stored in the refrigerator.

In my opinion, I like the moist Silk Sweet! (lol)
